Unfortunately, a farmer on a tractor came along and disturbed the love affair, so I wasn't able to continue taking pictures of the story. But of course, José would have a wedding picture of the orange tip in his archive, and the story gets to its happy end at least here on this website. In this picture the male sits at the bottom, you can recognize him by the translucent orange wing tip. The flirting orange tips in the field presumably got to their happy end as well, probably just in a place were they weren't observed by humans. The story has not come to its final end yet. Shortly after the tractor had passed, the fluttering orange tips returned, at least some females. |
