Beetles in Bags: In Autumn

The leaf rows contiuously wilts....

In autumn, the wilted leaf roll drops.

Once José found a collection of leaf rolls on one of the huge (? common name for Petasites hybrides) leaves, that grew below a birch tree.

...and drops off.
In autumn the larvae leave their rolls and hide in the ground, where they hibernate. They turn into a chrysalis in spring, where they hatch and start a new generation.
The introduction of the leaf roller (??)  is finished now. You may want to select a chapter once again from the bottom switch board or go to the top switch board to select a different story.
