Misumena vatia is not afraid of big beasts: even an Empid or Assassin Fly (Empis tessellata), a big, fast flying diptere, cannot escape.

Assassin Flies themselves are evil predators, that, in fast flight, grab other insects, stab them with their stiff protruding proboscis and suck them. This is a bad, bad world...
